Growing up in Nashville, Tennessee was a blessing—I was surrounded by talent. (I hope some of it rubbed off!) Being Southern, I naturally grew up singing in church. My parents really encouraged me.  I began singing professionally by age 10--performing in theme parks, on children's records, and I even had my own TV show on Fox!  Around age 18, I began to sing backup for major artists like Al Green, Brenda Lee, Vince Gill, Blackhawk and Christian artist Carmen. Working with such a range of artists helped me to find my own unique sounds. My influences are so diverse that I really can't name one genre that my music specifically falls into so I think there’s something for everyone on my album—from my southern gospel roots to rockabilly, to pop, rock, R&B, Celine-type power ballads, to just straight soul-singin'. Sorry, (besides singin’, I love to talk!) on with my story... After a few years of backup singing, I decided to try my hat as a solo-artist. At 21, my first production was really cool, but Nashville execs just didn't get it. So I packed up for the Big Apple, where everything started to make perfect sense. I was discovered by the legendary performer, writer, arranger, 30-time Grammy-nominated producer Charles Calello. He’s responsible for hits from Neil Diamond, Barbra Streisand, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, and Frank Sinatra (to name just a few). It was an amazing opportunity. Charlie put together a great team and now here I am—I couldn't feel more blessed. And I hope my best is yet to come…
